I am trying to configure Centreware to connect to my Versalink units (7035 specifically). SNMP v3 does not work (gives me an error stating that v3 is not configured even though I confirmed with a 3rd party tool it is working fine). So I am tryin gto use the v1/v2 strings. The GET string works fine but every time I put anything in for a SET string it gives me an "invalid SET" error. On the GUI of the unit itself it does not have GET and SET strings but instead has a "READ" string field and a "READ/WRITE" string field, I assume these map to GET and SET.
Anyone know why Centreware seems to be so flaky with SNMP? I installed all of the IIS features it requested (and one not listed in the documentation that it would not install without).
I'm using the latest version 6.0.7.
Hello AllanL.
If you have not already resolved this issue, we suggest you search our online knowledgebase for this product: CentreWare Web.
Alternatively, you can visit our Contact Us page for other support options.
The knowledge base has almost nothing about SNMP.
Hi AllanL,
Have you taken a look at the User Guide? There is information in that guide as well.
