Are you doing it from the web page or the machines user interface?

I have a WC 7556 and I'm trying to modofy the network settings (IP, subnet mask, gateway) but it does not seem to want to keep the changes I make. I log in on the printer with the admin account, go the the network settings, I type in the IP and press save, I get a timer that seems to indicate to me that it's saving but the IP address does not change. Once I leave the menu completely it reboots the printer and still it does not take the changes I made. What can I do?
