Re: WC7855 Finisher Main Tray Not Available

What kind of a finisher is it? An office finisher I would assume. If its related to the stapler it could be the wire harness under the stapler that follows it to the back and front of the finisher when it moves. They wires may be damaged.

Re: WC7855 Finisher Main Tray Not Available

Fault Codes:  IIOC bus 2 com faults and 12-557 fault on UI Chains:  12 MFF

Problem:The machine states "close finisher door"on UI on MFF machines. The
machine also gives a MFF IOT communication fault and fails IIOC test type 2. If
you disconnect the finisher and run the test it passes. 24v is missing on the
MFF control when interlocked.

Cause:The 24v is missing on the MFF control pwb due to a short in the stapler head assy. In
this case I disassembled the stapler head and found a lot of staples inside the
stapler head. One of these staples was shorting the stapler cartridge interlock
switch.

WC7855 Finisher Main Tray Not Available

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Please someone help with this fault code: 12-557. Sometimes when the machine is rebooted it works fine only for it to return back to the error after a few days and probably remain that way. Please help.
