Wanted to see if anyone has been successful in connecting a Docucolor 242/252/260 printer with a Splash RPXii front end in Windows 7. We are having a terrible time trying to troubleshoot the problem. Cursed with the 0x000006be error. Along with Explorer constantly rebooting itself when trying to print. And/or the Print Spooler quitting. Our print server is win2003. We've tried installing the drivers (Windows Vista version) manually with no avail. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The error that you are seeing appears to be a registry error. I couldn't find the error in our Knowledge Base so I looked it up on Google. There are very simple instructions for fixing the error if you click here. I don't know if this error alone is stopping you though. There may be other issues behind the 0x000006be error that you'll have to clear up too. Hopefully this link will get rid of the 0x000006be error you're seeing though!
