I have a Workcenter 7830 that was dropped in my lap. It was all torn apart, and was "diagnosed" as a "bad motherboard" since it did nothing. This randomly happed one day in the past I was told. I reassembled the unit, and it powers up to the screen that says "Please wait...the system is powering up. It seems to be doing some sort of power cycle and then is back to this screen. I have done a power kill/reboot with no change. I don't have a contract, but am very handy with fixing things in general with some guidance. Can anyone help? I am leaning towards an altboot as my next step. The machine has been fully assembled. Thank you
