L6 LASER PROBLEM
The Main PWB sensed that the Laser Assembly polygon motor failed to achieve the correct operating speed after power up or after the  Start button is pressed.

By the looks of it in the Service manual, it probably isn't fixable since the parts are very unlikely to be obtained anywhere due to it's age.

I have an old XD100 that has provided many years of great service.

I let a family menber use the computer/printer during the holidays and left me with a Code L6.

This code is not in the ownwers manual. Is there someone on this forum that knows how to clear this code.

Any help would be appreciated especially since I purchased a new high volume tone cartridge prior to the problem.
