Workcentre 5735 asking for resources it doesn't need.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

So we have had the Workcentre for about a year now and this is a new problem. Any document sent to the printer is stalled in the job que asking for required resources. Only it doesn't need them. It is asking for 8 1/2 by 11" Custom 1 paper (good on one side) in tray 1 or the bypass tray. We do have custom 1 paper but it's in tray 3 and even saying that the new paper in the bypass tray is custom 1  it doesn't print. It's demanded staples for when staples weren't requested, everything. What is this error and what can I do? I have tried restarting and rebooting the software the problem occurs for every print job sent. The workcentre can still send and recieve faxes as well as photocopy.
