Tray 1 automatically detects A4 portrait, I can not figure out why. I have visually verified the tray settings.
Login as the admin and go to Machine Status > Tools > System Settings . Common Service Settings > Other Settings
verify that Default Print Paper Size is set to 8.5*11
verify that Paper Size Settings is set to Inch Series
Then go to Machine Status > Tools > System Settings . Common Service Settings > Paper Tray Settings and make sure the specific tray is not dedicated or set to something wrong
When I manually enter the size it turns to landscape, I don't want that.
Either enter the dimensions opposite of what you are doing, or pick the size with the picture of the paper going in the landscape direction.
As I understand it - if Trays 3,1 are the same size, orientation, and 3 is set as first priority, 1 as second - then when it runs out it will default to Tray 1 without any user input. Please correct me if I am understanding incorrectly
Partially true, if you tell it to print specifically to tray 3 it will only go to tray 3, if you tell it to auto select and the job is 8.5*11 it will go to 3 and proceed to 1 if empty/emptied
I have a Xerox WorkCentre 5225A. When I load 8.5x11 paper/portrait into tray 3 - it automatically detects the correct size.
Tray 2 is disabled in System settings due to hardware/Tray being visually broken.

Paper Tray priority is set at- 3(8.5x11/portrait),1(a4/portrait),4(11x17)<-----I would like 1 to also be 8.5x11/portrait for when 3 runs out

I am new to this Device, still reading the manual, but am stuck here.
