Hi Joe, could I also get the solution PM'd? Many thanks.
The only problem is there is no network settings available and hence no no IP address and can't access CWIS. I need to enable it first I guess.
It seems the firmware on the public side(ending in 2400) is corrupt can you send me the latest version? Maby snd me a like to the SPAR site?
I have prepared my Altboot folder and moved it to a thumb drive as you stipulated… and the same way I did it as a Xerox Agent Analyst. The problem is when I download the firmware, I get a message that if cannot be extracted because the zip file has no content.
I also got the same error and only a white screen
Well, after a few days of trial and error, I finally got the printer running. I did had to open the printer and remove the hard drive, connected to my Windows10 PC and through Disk Management deleted all the partitions on the hard drive, left it as new, no partitions, no format or anything. Put it back and tried a forced upgrade to success. Hopefully this saves some time to others with the same problem.
You can try this ....

If it doesn't work the first time, try another USB drive, I have quite some and so far only 1 have worked, but still having errors during the upgrade. Give it a shot.
