It was all my mistake I guess. We have a pullprint solution (Safe Com) installed but not yet in production and it's this little gem that prevents me from accessing the printer.
After starting with Safecom all would be just fine i hope.

I surf to the printer IP and on the printers website I can choose to display the tray config. but I can't change anythin. Darn...
This should not be a problem, its a matter of Adjustable or Dedicated trays which you can change on nearly any xerox machine.
I did this on the 75xx machine we have here and I went to the admin menu -> Go to Tools -> Tray Management -> Tray Settings.
And here you will be able to choose the tray you want to change, while this is selected you can press "change settings" in the top right corner.
And here you should be able to select "Dedicated" Tray, and save the settings.
It does work on this machine, according to the knowledge base on this site.
I log in as admin and choose:
Status > Tray > ...all trays are listed in a t table and al of them have status "waiting for confirmation) and I can't change anything...there is an update button but it's hardly of any use before I find out how to change any setting.
I don't have these options: "Tools -> Device Settings -> Tray Settings -> Change setting"
You will need to login as admin for this.
Go to Machine Status -> Tools -> Device Settings -> Tray Settings -> Change settings(on the tray you want to change) -> Change this to Dedicated.

Hi, I've got two Xerox 7545 and every time after filling it up with more paper I need to confirm paper size and quality...this is rather annoying and I would like the default to be no need for confirmation but I can't find where to disable the control.
