strange, have you tried updating the firmware of your machine? or try to change your port settings on the driver to lpr mode with queue name LP, instead of raw...
The queue never prints. Even if we reboot the print server. Only rebooting the 7556 does the job come out.
what kind of errors do you het then?
We have a print server for our Windows users. It is running Windows Server 2008, Standard Edition SP2.
We loaded the 32 and 64 bit drivers for the 7556.
Users install from our print server and can print to our 7556 UNTIL.. something happens (we thought it was when the system went to sleep) and suddenly it would get errors and not send the jobs on. Our Linux users can send jobs so the printer is working. Rebooting the Windows print server DOES NOT HELP. The only fix is to reboot the printer.
Anyone got ideas? We do not have the SNMP stuff to see if the printer is online.
Thanks.
