Re: Xerox B215 driver for macOS Catalina doesn't work

Thanks a lot for your answer! After the third time uninstalling and reinstalling it worked so far. Now I'm able to print and scan.

Re: Xerox B215 driver for macOS Catalina doesn't work

Hello Mikka,

The first thing I would recommend is un-installing and re-installing with the Xerox Print Driver to get it printing correctly.

Easy Print Manager and others listed below are no longer support in the Catalina driver for the B2xx products.

You should be able to continue to scan using the macOSx native programs:

Thanks,

Xerox B215 driver for macOS Catalina doesn't work

Product Name: Xerox B215 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 - Catalina

Hi,

I just bought a Xerox B215 but it’s not running with macOs Catalina very well. Documents are not printed as they should, it just prints some hieroglyphics. And the scanner doesn’t work at all. The function “scan to pc” doesn’t work as well. It’s not possible for me to choose any computer to activate this function. Also, I’m a little bit confused about the driver for macOS Catalina. The description tells me some add ons which are not included as followed…

Not included in this DMG as they are not supported with macOS 10.15.6:
- Twain - B215/B205
- Network PC Fax - B215/B205
- Easy Printer Manager - B215/B205/B210
- ScanAssistant - B215/B205

What does this mean to me? Are these add ons/functions not necessary for a mac? There is no user interface for a convenient handling.

Are these problems known to anyone of you? The customer service of xerox is not very helpful. Without a maintenance agreement it would cost me a lot of money to get help by the technical support.

Thanks for your answers!
