Thank you so much for the solution. Indeed it was the update causing the problem.

I was seeing the same error. I removed October patches and it now works. Security is already asking me how soon I will be able to patch this server.

Will Xerox have an update to Centraware available soon?

Got the same problem and found a solution !

The problem is the .net Framework 4.8 update, after this update is installed, the scheduler service want start and the cww webpage is unavailable.

Just uninstall the update, it is listed with Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4486105).

After a reboot the CWW works again !

Look for clues in the event viewer. Replicate the error and then look at the application event logs for errors referencing the Xerox services. I've seen this error after fiddling in IIS, when the security software blocks the program, or when the CWW user account expires.

Xerox CenterWare has experienced an unexpected error

Jump to solution
Product Name: CentreWare Web
Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 x64

CWW all of a suddent went to halt. When trying to access Xerox Centreware Web it comes up to an error: "Xerox Centreware Web has experienced an unexpected error. To recover, click the home button. if the problem persists, please contact xerox Support."

In "detailed error message" box, there is no information, meaning that error typ, browser type and such is empty.

Also, Xerox Scheduler Service happened to be not running, but after a manual attempt to start it we get an error: Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

Thank you for your help or advice.
