Hello Cathy, Thanks but unless the Xerox CentreWare management application rotates the admin password to the serial number, I hadn't. I just tried it now and the serial number did not work for the admin user account. Is there an additional user account that uses the serial number as the password?
Have you tried to use the devices 9 digit serial number as the password?
I am using the latest verion of Xerox CentreWare™ Web to change the default admin passwords. On a few of the stored passwords, when logging into the web admin interface of the IP/Printer listed, the password does not work. Does the Xerox CentreWare SQL database store the previous passwords that it had changed it to prior? Can you share the table where it's found so I can get a database admin to query for that information. If it does not store the previous passwords, how do I go about resetting it using instructions I found on this forum:
a. At power-on, press and hold the back and OK buttons simultaneously
b. Within 2 seconds of when "Password" appears, press and hold the UP and DOWN arrows simultaneously.
3). Reset NVRAM. If prompted for a password to access the reset function, enter 4370.
