We have at our school a Xerox Color cude 8700X muti priner. I am currently trying to set up scan to email Etc. however; in testing the sending email connectivity vi athe printers web interface I keep gettong 'Unable to send test E-mail.
Login failure. Check user password, and/or setups.'
Just some notes here, all of the necessary ports needed to connect to Gmails SMTP server have been opened, no matter what domain gmail accounT that is used, the message occures. Also, a Xerox level 2 tech remoted in yesterday and using hiis gmail account, the error did not occur. Currently I also have Google working on this as well. Any thought's on this?
By the way, I also created an email address for the printer which is needed within the printers interface panel.
