I've had to remove the Hard Drive from 2 of my Altalink C8055 machines. You have only 2 of the 4 versions of SPAR available. The older machines would have no problem accepting any version of SPAR, but these newer machines you MUST use the SPAR version that was originally on the machines or it will not properly take the latest version.
I need to have a link that allows me to see "all" versions of SPAR for the C8045-C8055 models please. What happens if you don't have the correct version is the machine will just keep shutting down and restarting, but never actually begin the process of installing.
And before you say load it from the GUI interface, I have already exchanged the Hard Drives. I can ONLY do an install from turning on the machine wth the firmware installed on a USB device. I am a technician with 30 plus years in this industry and 14 of those with Xerox. So I am well versed and know what I precisely need.
