Hello pieroandreini,

I found an article that says to go and check that all doors are latched and drawers closed and power of and on. If that doesn't work, you will need to call Support:1800-821-2797.

hang on boot

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer

We own a Xerox Altalink C8035 serial# 3717589350.

The printer was accidentally switched off during boot, and now is stuck with the following message: "Please wait... the system is powering up. Do non press the power switch again while power us is in progress."

the seven segment display on SBC PWB show the sequence 0 1 4 2 5 and remain on 5.

Already tried to make a pendrive fat32 with the folder on root named DWLD with inside the firmware file AltaLink_C8030_35_system-sw#10100101920200#ENG_MOD.DLM without success.

Already tried to make the same pendrive formatted fat32 with on root a file zero lenght named FORCED_UPGRADE and a folder named altboot with inside the firmware file AltaLink_C8030_35_system-sw#10100101920200#ENG_MOD.DLM without success.

I guess I need the complete firmware file with extension .bin instead .dlm, but it doesn't exist on a printer support page.

May somebody help me please?
