Re: printing throuh router

Jump to solution

I am using a pc through all wired connections, not a mac as my previous post.

You are right, the problem comes from my sub router.

I just don't know what to ask Linksys for that problem, do you think mDNS is blocked in case of all wired connections?

Anyway Joe, thanks for your'e time and advice

Probably a Cisco router, which blocks mDNS when you go from Wireless to Wired and vice versa.

In that case , you would need to contact the router manufacturer, not Xerox, since it clearly works until you add a 2nd router to the existing network.

Does Webtools open? (Fiery IP in the address bar of Safari), don't bother with the printer IP, 100.100.100.101 is unreachable from your MAC, it is hooked directly to the Fiery via crossover, so the copier is not on your network, it's on EFI's (They make Fiery rips)
