Hello jalf86,
For information on a new device and compatibility please call our Sales Organization at 1-800-ASK-XEROX.
I run Linux on Fedora 34. Fedora is derived from RedHat. It uses the rpm packaging eco system.
I've used Brother printers for a very long time, they have been very reliable, however the last product I bought from them left a sour taste in my mouth. I thought I should see what else is out there. I didn't like what I was reading about HP, EPSON, and Cannon. Your products seem to have great stability, so I looked at your web page. I'm looking for something: under $700, multi-function scan/fax/print, laser output, color output, WiFi connection, auto-duplex output, auto-feed, mobile printing. On your web site I zeroed in on your C235 product. If you have any other product recommendations let me know.
On various web sites, its told that Xerox has an installation program to setup the Linux drivers. This involves downloading an .rpm file. However, for the C235, the only file I see for download in the Linux environment is a .ppd file. Is there an .rpm file to download for the C235? Do you have any instructions to install the .ppd file for the C235? How long will the toner cartridges for the C235 be available (be supported)?
