"Metered Ink"

You can use non-metered ink in your printer as well. I would suggest picking up some metered though simply because the blocks are a little larger and they are cheaper.

Edit to add: Visiting the Xerox supplies site, there is no mention of "Metered" or "regular" or .... just ink!

I see the term "metered Ink: in the context of the Phaser 8550 printers. I had not seen that term before. What is "Metered Ink" and how does it differ from "regular" ink (or whatever you would call it)? Regards, Bill Lee
