I have been able to find the problem.  It has to do with the toner dispense module.  It ate up the gear that connects to the motor.  I had reordered a new gear and replaced it and it has already ate  that gear up....

 

I am looking for somewhere that I can get a toner dispense module.  Anyone have one they wish to get rid of or know somewhere that has one at a reasonable price?

Hi bbyod,

Please take the toner out and turn the machine off.  Turn the machine back on with no toner in the machine and then please replace the toner making sure that you follow all the instruction in this solution for replacing the toner.  This is the last thing I know to try.  If this does not work than call your local support centre and see if they have any more information.

Ok now I'm getting an error number when I go into the WorkCentre Stats window. It gives error 09-593 which I looked up to be a toner feed problem. Any ideas besides calling for a service tech because it will cost more than the machine is really worth by the time they make it out here. We are in a rural area.

Hi Bbyod,

Please try this solution for clearing the message and resetting the % toner remaining value.  If that does not clear the message then you will need to turn the machine off for a full 2 minutes then turn it back on.  If the message still displays after that then you will need to have service take a look.

That seems to have helped but still am getting the "Replace Toner" messages, just for curosity I changed it out to a new toner bottle again..Same Problems.

5655 Toner Problems.

Hello All,

    I hope someone can help me out.  I have a 5655 and am having some toner problems.  My machine is telling me to replace the toner and will not operate.  The toner is good and has atleast 75% left.  I have taken is out and shaken it to try to break up any clumps and wiped off the toner bottle.  Does anyone have any other suggestions? I know the toner is good becuase it was just placed in there not too long ago and is still almost as heavy as a new one.
