The technical support told me to install the latest FMver ever get any of these products.
At first I was told to install the latest FW which I did - no help. Then they told me to go to the HW support (by a 3rd party vendor). They in turn came over and replace the printer pannel.
then they came over to replace the motherboard.
No they do not even return my calls.
I have another 6027 in a box that I just bought and this one will be returned back to the vendor and I will get HP instead. at least thier service is much better.

too early to celebrate... this morning the printer was stuck again - the power saving light is on but nothing happens when I press on it. just a restart will wake up the printer...
strange but after I reset the TCP/IP settings the printer came back to life and the problem is now gone!
It was installed to fix the problem but it did noit help at all.

Did you update it to fix this issue and it failed to fix it, or did you update and it caused this issue?
my 6027 is getting hung and power must be recycled to bring it back on. latest FW is on it. any ideas?
