Re: 802.1x network is not properly configured. Contact system administrator.

Hi we too have excatly the same issue. But we do not use 802.1x authentication, so surly it should be set = OFF on the printer.

We have no authentication server nor do we use certs.

How is it best to proceed pls? The 'next steps' imply a working 802.1x setup, which we don't have.

Thanks

David

Hello Gajowy,

You do need to set it to Active. Here are some more details on the steps.

Thanks,

802.1x network is not properly configured. Contact system administrator.

Product Name: Xerox C235 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Not Specified
I started a new printer (C235). During the initial setup, I connected to WiFi. I did not change any other parameters. I get the warning "802.1x network is not properly configured. Contact system administrator." Why does this error appear? On the device "Settings -> Network/Port -> 802.1x" I have "Active" disabled.
