If you are able to access and use the control panel please try resetting the machine back to the Factory Defaults using the steps included in the link I have provided from the online support and see if that clears the problem. If not then yes you would need to contact service.

Phaser 8560 at power on prints the start up pages, shuts down, initializes again, and runs cleaning page. This is a non-ending cycle. Replaced maintenance kit. Cleaning page(s) seems rather oily. I am thinking service needs to be called. no error messages. Printer has been powered off for over an hour and the issue still exists.
