Re: 8r12925 staples manufacturing defect?

I would guess there is something wrong with the finisher more than the staples. The odds of getting 4 defects in a single box is odd, but not impossible.

But if you can't staple through the Booklet maker (R2 and R3) or the finisher stapler (R1) it would have to be the staples themselves since the hardware driving the staple is not the same in the 2 separate locations.

8r12925 staples manufacturing defect?

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I bought a box of 8R12925, which has 4 cartridges. The leading staple on all 4 cartridge is not sticking out.

It causes the machine to not staples. I've returned the box and assumed it was a manufacturing defecct? Am i right? How often does that happen?

I could flip the leading staple out and were able to do 1-2 but the copier stops stapling again after that.
