Glad it will be so easy. Now which version should I get: serial (Xerox part number 097N01686) or parallel (Xerox part number 097N01685)? Does it matter? What's the practical difference?
You must install the fax card, power ON and the machine will see a new hardware and will show an instalation wizard setup (country, fax number, send/receive option).
My 4260 does not have fax and I want to add it. I see parallel and serial versions. Which is better? Is installation anything more than just plugging in the card? After I do that will the 4260 display the fax tab on the screen and I'm good to go?Or do I have to let it know that I have installed the card?
