Have you tried to do a Factory Default? Press the Device>Resets>Reset to Factory Default. After that, depending on software level, try with SN or 1111.

I set up the admin acount on my 6515. Name and password.

At some point the printer's paper size changed. Nobody changed it, it changed changed from 8 1/2 x 11 to 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 and print jobs failed. I went to change the paper size back, but it was locked, could be change.

I went to logon to my admin account. It was gone. Only the default admin account was there. Neither the SN or 1111 works to logon.

I can't get into admin mode to reset anything.

Right now the 6515 is a brick taking up space.

Everything I see at this point is I need to take to a service center and have a tech use their properitariy software to reset. That is simply moronic.

Is there a hack or hard reset I can employ.

Oh by the way Xerox, I will never buy another Xerox POS because of this. A hard reset should be a simple matter for a customer to accomplish. I bought this thing. I own it. You should provide everything I need to service my hardware.
