We have finsihed installation of about 145 MFD devices at a major client, including models C8035, B8035, C8055, Workcentre 5566.
There is one, literally one printer, that is giving us grey hairs. Since installation, the printer is reporting no toner on all four cartridges. Replacing the cartridges has not effect. We logged a call with the local Xerox support centre and their technicians can also not find the fault. Fault is reported on both the physical device and when logging in via the embedded server, so it doesn't seem to be software-related.
Please advise possible causes, short of returning the device to the distributor?
Try to power up the device without toner's and insert them if the machine request them ( if ).
