I have an Altalink C8055 not waking from sleep mode. You press the Power/Wake button you hear the machine initialize but the screen stays black then it will reboot. The error code this gives is 316-331 UI Communication Fault everytime. I have tried Software version 101.002.009.00300 the latest available with the problem remaining. Ive tried setting the USB to Powered On and Job Activated. Any help would be much appreciated Thx

First try to reinstall the software with FORCED_UPGRADE and DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP. If this not solved the issue it could be a defective memory on the SBC PWB or a bad MCU PWB or even the LVPS.
Take care, if reinstall the software like I said it will be better to have a clone, because the settings will be wiped and you need to reconfigure the machine settings.
Ive tried the Forced AltBoot, a new SBC,System Memory and LVPS. Im ordering an MCU now. Hope this works. Strange thing is that it will wake correctly sometimes after sitting all night. There is a "t" on the LED. I found a Eureka stating its a software bug that updating to the version I have fixed that, but apparently not.

but if you look in rls notes, its still an open escalation, so fix will be for next firmware probably

Is there an update to this for 2022? We have this same problem, and the software updates posted here are for older files.
There is a new Service Pack R22-05 (06/15/22) available at Xerox.com, Support and Drivers.
