Re: [B210 Printer] Enabling network access

Hello,

I have recently purchased 3 and this setup is ridiculous.

This process is done on a Windows based system.

In order to enable networking on the unit, you need to install the drivers and the printer locally to a system via USB. Then once installed, you open the Xerox Easy Printer Manager software. Choose the printer, then click on 'advanced settings' then click on 'device settings' then I believe it is networking (I don't have one plugged in at the moment to test). You can enable the wired or wireless connection from there. Save then plug in network cable.

Also, as an FYI, banner pages is on by default and needs to be disabled via the web interface. Again, a pain having to turn off.

Hope this helps.

[B210 Printer] Enabling network access

Jump to solution
Product Name: Xerox B210 Printer
Operating System: Linux

Hello all,

I just received a Xerox B210 Printer. After intalling the machine , I noticed that it did not connect to my Lan.

I printed the info page and I noticed the ethernet card is disabled and that the Wifi direct service is disabled, too.

My question : how can I enable the ethernet access ?

Thanks for your help

François
