I responded with my experience, but then got a message to say that my post had been removed by a moderator as it was considered to be spam.
I also occasionally get a jumble of characters instead of the document, spread over loads of extra / unwanted new pages with just a few lines printed per page - see pic. But I have not noticed a correlation to using Apple Preview or Adobe reader.
Not sure what causes theproblem for me, but I suspect some kind of timing issue or confusion inside the B210. I have mine connected via USB cable and via wifi (and have defined 2 different printers in my MacOS settings: one via wifi the other via USB). Perhaps that confuses it?
Also, I think it needs a good time (30 secs to a minute?) to switch on properly after being powered off or in standby, and I get the impression the 'random characters problem' is more likely if I launch the print command before the B210 has woken up properly. Perhaps your Preview and Acrobat reader have slightly different timing behaviour?
So I now make sure that the printer is fully ready (not in standby) before pressing "Print", and tend to avoid switching between wifi and USB connection (though they both work, usually).
If I do start getting random characters, I pull out the paper tray to stop the printing, switch off main power, clear the print queue on the computer, wait a few minutes to calm myself down, and start again, leaving the B210 plenty of time to get organised. Usually works, but is a pain in the neck.
To get it installed in the first place, I also used a Windows machine, plus the advice of a post elsewhere in this thread.
When it does wok, I am happy with the result. But sometimes I think I should have bitten the bullet and returned it to the retailer. Would have avoided more inconvenience and aggro in the long run.
I managed to get in work through WiFi:
1) Have connected the B210 to my 2.4GHZ WIFI from a Windows laptop
2) After the B210 was on WIFI, i could add it as a network printer on Mac.
However, it does not print any PDF files. Just spits out a messy combination of characters. Any ideas how to resolve this one as well?
I too cannot find any link or download for the "Xerox Easy Printer Manager" - and while the video instructs me to load the disc, I currently do not have a means of reading discs on my MacBook Air.
Does anyone have any idea how one can get Xerox Easy Printer Manager without the disc that was included? CDROMs are antiquated, and I won't be buying one just for this.
If I cannot setup the B210 for Wifi, I will have to return this product.
The online R-E-V-1-E-W-S I read were wonderful about the cost-per-page, but I cannot keep this printer if the only option is to print via wired connection. (I'm sorry for the awkward typing, but that word keeps getting censored.... *facepalm*)
I was stuck on this as well, here is a solution that works on a Mac or Linux. It should work with any computer, actually! Doesn't require any drivers or driver downloads.
It's a shame that Xerox doesn't include these steps cleary in the installation instructions but anyway here you go.
In a nutshell, you need to connect the printer to your Ethernet network, tell it to recognize the wired network, then log in through your web browser to set the wireless settings.
* Get an Ethernet cable (Cat5)
* Plug Cat5 from printer into your router or switch (this is probably the box that has antennae for WiFi)
* Hold down WPS button (second from top) on the printer for 2 seconds
* Wait a few minutes until blinking stops, now it's on your network; if your goal is to get it on the LAN, you're done
To get it on wifi:
* Press red button for 2 seconds to get a status printout
* Find IP address under Network Setup > TCP/IP Settings
* Type that address into the address bar on your laptop
* Change the default password, which is the serial number, to something and write it down somewhere
* Log in
* Go to Properties > Connectivity > Protocols > Wireless Setup > Edit Settings
* Click Search Available to find your network
* It will ask for a log in; use admin / printer password again
* Choose your network
* Put in your *network* password in Security Key or Passphrase
* It will pop up asking for username and password, put in admin and printer password
* Click Restart Connection
You can unplug the Ethernet cable now.

Probably not DOA, but Xerox keep selling this item as Mac compatible which it clealry is not. I shipped it back to the dealer and bought something from a professional company instead.
Looks like you already have the correct drivers, but they will make naff all difference.
