I just unboxed a newly manufactured 7556 and it will not make a copy...job just keeps overwriting and failing...would not even print out config sheet...I called Xerox Dealer Service and they said the machine does not exist...anyone else had this issue with a 7556, or any other machine purchased for resale via Dealer Channel?

Why would they ship out a machine that never made a copy?
322.372.00 = Fax and printer not fully connected
393.973.00 = Broken cyan toner auger
393.972.00 = Broken pin cyan toner auger
393.971.00 = Cyan toner developer empty
If I had to guess I would guess that it literally was dropped during delivery, not one of them isn't a serious fault.

Of course updating firmware is no help for physical damage internally.
That printer requires service. I'd have a serious talk with the seller/reseller
