CP115w Not waking up

Operating System: Windows 10 x64

This machine is not waking up even after I have pressed the "Start" button on it. The Support personnel just deleted and reinstalled the printer on Windows and claimed it has been fixed. It's still the same.

Hello kampua,

Have you tried adjusting the Power Save Mode?

Here are some steps you can try:

NOTE: The following procedure uses Windows OS as an example.

From the computer:

  1. Launch the Printer Setting Utility. See the Related Content below for additional information.
  2. Click on the [Printer Maintenance] tab. The System Settings window will be displayed.
  3. Select the [System Settings] option from the menu on the left.
  4. Select the required time in minutes from the Power Saver Mode / Timer menu. The following settings are available:

    • Mode 1 / Low Power
    • Mode 2 / Sleep

  5. Click on the [Apply New Settings] button to save the Power Saver settings.
  6. Click on the [X] button on the top right corner of the window and then click on the [Yes] to close the Printer Setting Utility.
