Can I use any usb wifi adapter to connect to my network?
Product Name: WorkCentre 7220/7225
Operating System: Windows 10
I have a Workcentre 7225 that is plugged into our network via an ethernet cable. I'd like to move it to a more convenient location and use wifi. I have two questions. 1) Do I need to use a Xerox wifi adapter or will any usb adapter work? 2) Are the two usb ports on the backside where the ethernet connects where the wifi adapter plugs into?
I expect being proprietary, the answer will most likely that I need to use the Xerox adapter. However I know people can get very creative when solving problems and I am hoping someone has crossed this bridge and figured out a way.
