Follow up- I took the back panel off, took the platen glass off, totally disconnected the board that the DADF plugs into, cleaned and reseated all cables and reinstalled- cleared everything up, feeder works now and the blue lines i had on color copies went away. i think it was one of the cables in the back of the machine that plugged into that board. leaving comment for anyone else who googles same problem.
I can copy from the glass, but inserting a sheet into the feeder results in a "scan fault"- more specifically 362-461, "calibration gain range error"
Have tried cleaning and reseating the DADF cable connector.
Any ideas?
