Cannot Duplex Print - 8560mfp

I am having the same problem with 8560DN. It started last week. I am on OSX 10.6. I can select two-sided in the printer dialog box and it won't duplex. Where is the ppd if I need to change something there?

Xerox released a new 10.7 driver on 7/25. I installed that on both of my Macs today, I still cannot duplex print, and I'm still getting the printer control error that I posted the screenshot of earlier. 

Anyone have any ideas?

The drivers for 10.7 are available, and I have installed them.

Mind you this is happening on two separate Macs in exactly the same way. Both are running the same OS version, both of them have the new driver, and neither can duplex.

Like I said, since 10.6 came out, I have not been able to duplex from a Mac. Windows (even though Parallels) works fine.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

well, for 10.7 i think yiou need an updated driver, did you update? not sure if it is avaible yet for your device

I have set 2 sided/flip on long edge in both the settings on the printer itself (console) as well as the print settings from every application I use on the Mac. It fails to duplex every time from every application in OS X.

I booted up Windows 7 Professional in Parallels, and on the first try I was able to duplex print the same document that I could not duplex print from OS 10.7.

I am also getting a Printer Control Command Error, which I have included a screenshot of below. Right now this only happens when I print from Mac OS 10.7.

hello,

most of the times on macintosh you can define duplex on 2 locations, once in the application itself but also in the xerox features of the loaded ppd, have you tried it in the xerox features pulldown menu ?

I cannot print duplex to my 8560mfp, and have not been since I upgraded my Mac to Snow Leopard. 

I have since moved on to Lion, and I've installed the newest drivers from Xerox. I've also installed the newest printer firmware, and I still cannot duplex. No matter what paper type I use, or if I set up automatic duplex from the printer's console, or in the print settings from the application, nothing ever duplexes. 

Anyone else having similar issues?
