Have you checked if all USB ports are enabled? In case you don't know how use this :)
Hi Daryll,
It's true that the ports can not use multiple USB sticks consecutively.
The rear ports are usually used for things like badge/card readers for user accounting, etc.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Steve
Hi Kimzi,
I am absolutely aware of that. Our printer has a one port Type A in front and 2 ports Type A with one Type B in rear. My concern is that what's the use of the other 2 Type A ports in rear panel when all I want is to use all Type A ports consecutively, specifically for pen drives which I can't?
The scenario is that, when I inserted first a pen drive at the front everything works exactly ok, but when I inserted the second pen drive at the rear portion and removed the front and inserted back again, the printer reads the data always from the second drive no matter how many times you have done pulling and inserting.
I think there is no support for this. So my conclusion is that you cannot use Type A ports consecutively.
Thanks
Daryll
Hi, Daryll!
"PC Interface for Xerox ® Copier Assistant ® via USB Type B port
Software upgrade via USB Type A port USB Print and Scan"
The ports are designed to work differently, so the USB on the rear is used to connect to a computer, the front USB is used for Software upgrade / thumb drive scan/print.
Best Regards
Kimzi

Does anybody know how to make 2 USB ports work (front & rear) consecutively in 7535?
