We've got a Xerox Color Press 700i running a Creo server. A few months ago, the touchscreen started to randomly become uncalibrated which was an easy fix, until it just stopped responding. I've replaced with a new touch screen and hooked it back up and everything was fine for a few days. Now intermittenly the whole unit stops responding. The keys under the screen won't work and neither will the touchscreen. Could a bad screen cause an issue with the keypad under it responding. Looking at the wiring, they don't seem interconnected but I figured better to ask than to assume.
If anyone has advice or suggestions on fixing this issue, I'm all ears.
