Re: ColorQube 8570 Region Errors

Hi a quick call to your local xerox support desk should have your problem solved quickly.

If your printer is set to the wrong region then the only way to put it straight is with a little patch/snippet.
Your local support would be more than happy to double check with you if this is the case and the snippet is usually send to you by mail (they would need to know a few things like the page count for the snippet to work)

and as far as I know there is no cost involved

ColorQube 8570 Region Errors

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello, I am working on a ColorQube 8570DN for a client, and we're having a few issues. They are a PagePack subscriber (currently lapsed, but in the works for renewing) and the ink that was sent to them doesn't work in their printer. About half of each pack worked, and then stopped.

The printer is in region code NA, and it is rejecting codes ending in 949, 946, 947, and 948. Can anyone provide a chart or page that describes which codes match up to which region settings? Also, since they got the ink from pagepack, can they get a refund since the wrong ink was sent to them? Finally, would there be a cost to having the region code reset if the incorrect ink was what caused the problem (as is shown on a few other support topics here).

Thank you,

Dave
