Hi Lux,
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.
The ink is not meant to be removable by the user.
To do that would require disassembling the machine and actuating the levers to open the gate pegs.
Normally this requires a service technician.

Hello.
I have a ColorQube 8570 that I just added a whole set of new ink sticks (two each color) into the other day. The printer died this morning, which I was afraid might happen due to noises it's been making the last month or so.
So I ordered a new ColorQube 8570 which will arrive soon. My question is, how do I get those new ink sticks out of the dead printer so I can put them in the new one? They slide up the loader tray but stop short of going all the way up because of some "pegs." Do I have to resort to just breaking the tray apart so I can lift them out? That's a lot of money sitting in that loader tray!
