Found something intersting!

I try to do some Service Diagnosis like 'Check DM Drive' and many thing else

Output seems to have the same things in common as

R0: undefined
R1: undefined
R2: undefined
.
.(can be up to)
.
R17: undefined

is it the connection problems or the I/O board

I also check and test the heater it's not heating up too
I can't even turn on the ink heater on πŸ˜‚

I just try it out, the firmware update pass successfully but still freeze at the machine restarting screen again
But I checked the version of the firmware, it's updated

But sadly, the logo screen freeze still the same πŸ˜₯

Could it be the RAM?
(the I/O board is the thing i keep thinking about but still hope that it's not it)

This is the file download utility. Unfortunately if the printer is Bricked due to a failed firmware load....it might not be able to upload the firmware to the printer...

the firmware file you listed was from may 2017.....this is a link to the latest version I'm aware of from OCT 2018

this is the download link to the zip file containing instructions and the update firmware

if that's not working then the failed update may have bricked a board with corrupted code 😱😬 may need a service technician....if you have a maintenance contract??

[ColorQube 8880] Screen freeze after XEROX logo page slide in

Product Name: ColorQube 8880
Operating System: Windows 7

As the subject, the CQ8880 screen is freeze after XEROX logo page slides in.

[Symptoms]
When I open the machine, it shows Initializing page.
Next, 'XEROX (and logo)' screen slides in (with the backlight on).
And it stops there, nothing moves, no beep sound. 
If I push some button the backlight will be off.

Power cycling didn't change anything.
But, sometimes if it has some error code to show, when turn the power switch off it will show like this flow:

Xerox [& logo which freezing]
--> Switch off
--> Wait for sometimes
--> 'Energy Star' screen show
--> Error Code screen show 
--> Machine power off
###

 

[Tried Methods]
I can access the service diagnosis page.
Tried the firmware update "ColorQube 8580 / 8880 firmware - SMP version PS 4.19.0"
it passed successfully, but when it finish and show

Firmware update complete.
Printer is restarting...
"""
After waiting for an hour but it didn't restart by itself.
When turn the power switch off, wait for the machine off, and power it on again, the machine still freezes at the logo screen again

I try to enter the Manufacturing Menu page to use 'Reset Printer'
But the screen is freeze after confirm

What should I do or try next?
