Hello Michael. I'm with the same problem, did you solve it? Hugs
If the directions in the PM I sent you did not work it is not fixable with software.
At that point it is hardware, I have no idea what part is bad, you would need to pay a professional
Hello!
I've done the instructions, but at the start the boot animation/logo/green screen still freezes.
I also take of the network cable in another try.
I think there is no soution for me!
Is it better to downgrade to the firmware before!?
Is there a posibility to do this?
Where can i find the Versions:
System Software 071.160.202.26500 ???
Thanks to everyone who can help me.
Regards, Michael
If the update is done, it is working.
Do you mean instead of a bootloop it is just staying on the boot animation/logo/green screen?
If so, check your PM's
Ok. Thank you very much for your quick help.
I will try this today and if there is no Solution i will write again for any further Method.

If it is still doing this, take a USB drive, create a folder on it called altboot and put the DLM file inside it.
Nothing else on the USB drive.
Put it in the printer USB port and reboot it.
With luck it will wipe the device and install the firmware (complete settings are going to be lost)
And I would be doing it with the latest firmware which is this one
8700-8900-system-sw07216107715201.zip
If this fails, report back, we have one other method to try.
Hello!
I tryed to update firmware to ColorQube_8700-8900-system-sw#07216200409100#.DLM and downloaded it on the Xerox Website.
Then i tranfered the file via Web to the Printer and the system said: Data Sucsessfully sent.
The Printer started to update the firmware.
After 2 hours the printer didn't finished the update and every time it stucks at Copy Controller and there is a red Progress Bar.
Before the red Progress Bar there is a red Circle with an white X.
Is it posible to skip the update for this Copy Controller, because the update is looping and i 've seen it in the las 1 hour that it loops ever and ever again.
Thanks for helping
Regards
Michael
