I would suggest that you review the following image.
There are cases where the notches on the ink block are too dull for the reflection to be seen by the sensor. Buff the high area to allow a larger reflective difference.

Hello, I just bought a new colorcube and the sensor at the cyan slot seems to be broken. When I insert the original cyan color stick which came with the printer itself the sensor will not reacted and let the color slide down. All the other slot-sensors work fine, even if you only trigger them with your finger.
Anybody having the same problem before and could help me out?
