Thank you, I exchanged the control panel and this indeed resolved the issue.

Hi,

It is a hardware iisue and you must replace the control panel.

The control panel of my WC7535 is irresponsive, the screen works and the buttons light up as they should, however it doesn't take any input from either the touch screen or the hardware buttons, except for the standby button which would then display the standby dialog on screen (but as none of the other buttons are working, I can't confirm or return.). I also can not access CE mode because of this.

Accessing the Centerware Internet Services for configuration, as well as printing works without problems.

I also used the measurement points on the blue control panel PCB to verify the right voltages are present: no problem.

What I'm interested in finding out is if this can be a software issue (i went through all options I thought would be relevant already and didn't find anything). Or if this is a hardware issue. More specifically, is swapping the control panel assembly likely to resolve this or should I look elsewhere?

Any thoughs/input appreciated!
