We've got a 500 wide format printer in my office that uses a separate computer as a 'controller'. This computer connects to our LAN then to our printer via a d-SUB - 68pin connector to parallel connector. Recently, the controller decided to stop working so I am trying to salvage this thing by transplanting some of its components and software into a newer (still functioning) computer.
The key issue at this time is the PCI card. Windows XP recognizes the device as an 'Other PCI Bridge Device' however, not-suprisingly, cannot automatically find the drivers. The PCI card has one 68 pin DSub-female output.
Device Instance ID: PCI\VEN_10C5&DEV_0018...
From my research, I have found that VEN_10C5 indicates that the chip was manufactured by Xerox, however I still cannot find the appropriate driver.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
