Hi Lab_Rat,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for setting up the power save modes and extend the setting to the maximum time.  I do not have the steps for disabling it because as you have been told that is a technician process.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Disabling Sleep Mode WorkCentre 5945

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have a number of brand new Xerox printers here, but the main one this post concerns is the Xerox WorkCentre 5945 v1

The device goes into sleep mode and has trouble waking up from said mode.

I want to turn off sleep mode *permanently* 

On our 5875s it's in the technician's diagnostic mode and it's an NVM code. Apparently the same NVM code doesn't seem to work for the 5945 and Xerox is giving us the runaround on how to disable this.

 

So, turning to the community for help.
