Re: Document Centre 440dc, PC connectivity?

Hi Sowl,

The ST model that you would need is no longer sold by Xerox.  You will need to purchase an entirely new product.  For that, I would recommend you call Xerox but I do not know what the local number is for your location.  I have copied the U.S. information below, but I am not sure it will be of any help to you.  Can you talk to your local dealer where you purchased your 440dc?

Hello Sowl,

If you have the DC model, which is a copier only model, you will not be able to connect this machine to your PC.  You can however upgrade your machine to an ST model and then you will be able to connect the printer to a network.  (The DC and ST models do not have the capability to connect to a PC via USB.)

If you would like to upgrade to the ST model, you can call Xerox at 1.800.821.2797 and ask for more information on how to purchase the ST upgrade for your machine.
