I know, I know, I know. It is an old printer but it works and I don't use it much but when I do, I really do.
I cannot afford to buy a new one.
But I would like a driver, other than CUPS, to work on it with M1 and Monterey. Color and other things I need to adjust.

Can a new Phaser driver for macOS be installed that will function? This is often the case with HP printers. Indeed, I did that with a Samsung (HP) and, it worked.
