Help!!!
I have let this mfd sit unlugged because of this issue for over a year. Now, since I have to work from home I need it to work again.
There is no paper in the rollers or any other space yet it keeps telling me to remove paper. I am positive it is something triggered to think it is still there. Can you please help me figure this out???
Hello,
see below my suggestion
* Unplug the device from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Power cycling can sometimes reset the internal sensors and resolve minor glitches.
* Even if you're confident that there is no paper in the rollers, it's worth thoroughly inspecting the paper path for any small pieces or remnants that may be triggering the paper detection sensor. Use a flashlight if necessary to get a clear view.
* Paper sensors can sometimes become dirty or obstructed, causing false paper detection. Gently clean the sensors using a lint-free cloth or compressed air. Consult the device's user manual for guidance on locating and cleaning the paper sensors.
* If the issue persists, you can try performing a factory reset on the multifunction device. This will revert the settings back to their original state and may resolve any software-related issues. Again, refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer's support for instructions specific to your device model.
** Remember to provide them with as much information as possible, including the make, model, and any error messages displayed on the device, to help them diagnose and address the problem more effectively.**
Same problem with z Xerox workcenter 6025 : Paper Jam is indicated but there is no paper visible on the rear, but indeed, I can see paper jammed in a undocumented area just below the top of the printer. This is accessible only with very small tools, and I cannot grasp the paper. The method for removing the paper is undocumented!
This is a very bad model : less than 3000 pages printed have been printed!
The advice to reset the printer is sheer garbage, there is not a little piece of paper but an entire A4 sheet!
concertina in the rear inside the cover
I ended up having to take the rear cover off. the piece of paper was concertina'd up in that section ... Could not seeit from the rear without taking the cover off.
Hello Salina,
I searched that Faut code and it came back with the places to check for a jam. There could be a tiny piece of paper stuck in the back of the machine or in the paper path. Then suggests to unplug from the wall for a minute. Take a look at the solution images to verify those areas were checked to see if that helps.
Probably a dirty sensor, you would need a service manual to find them if deep inside, but there should be one visable behind the back cover
