Hi Swoopty,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you have followed the solutions for the error code 077-901. If the problem continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I tried to load 1 sheet of a heavier weight paper, it would not feed thru, remained in the input tray, got 077-901 paper jam message. I took out the paper, replaced it with plain paper but message will not clear. There is no paper jam. Is there any way to clear the error message, the printer is locked up by this message. Turned off printer for 5 minutes (unplugged it), turned it back on and get the same error message.
Someone suggested to Enter diagnostic mode and run the Regi Sensor test on xerox 6027.
How do you enter diagnostic mode?
I am having this same issue! I havent been able to use this printer/scanner in over a year. Now I am stuck (like most ppl) working from home and I need it!
Please help! Where do I locate the spring loaded piece of plastic referenced in this response?
Hi Salina,
Check out image #4 in this solution for the two levers that need to be put in the correct position.
I did all that and error message will not go away. there was paper, i took it out and put down the levers and error message will not go away.
this is rediculous. i have not used this printer that much at all
I have the 077-900 error and these pieces popped out with a tiny spring. Is there a diagram anywhere on how to put it back together? Or do I have to buy a new one? No idea where the spring goes? Thanksdiagram to fix this?
Hi,
The Sensor actuator
must be in this position

Gabi,
Awesome pic, thank you so much. What about that other big plastic piece in the photo? Do you have a pic where that goes?
Also I put the reg. act in place and it still says paper jam with error message. I don't see any paper in the machine. Thoughts?
Thank you,
Eric
